Percentiles and streaks are arithmetic facts about what was observed; they are not forecasts, signals or investment advice.<\/p>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"frp-info\">\r\n\t\t\t<h2>What is the funding rate historical memory?<\/h2>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The live table shows the funding rate on <strong>five exchanges<\/strong> right now. This page adds what no free service offers: an <strong>own historical series of the multi-exchange AVERAGE<\/strong>. Every hour we store each exchange's annualized rate and its per-asset average; with that series we compute the current funding's <strong>historical percentile<\/strong>, how many <strong>consecutive days<\/strong> it has kept the same sign, and how far <strong>exchanges diverge<\/strong> from each other.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Why is this data hard to find?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<p>Each exchange publishes, at best, its own history. The average across several exchanges must be built by sampling all of them at once, continuously, and storing the result: if nobody captured it at the time, it cannot be rebuilt later. Services that offer it charge for it. Ours starts the day capture was enabled and grows automatically every hour.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>How the indicators are computed<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<p>We work with rates <strong>annualized using each exchange's real interval<\/strong> (8h, 4h or 1h), which makes them comparable. The base series is the <strong>daily averages<\/strong> of the multi-exchange mean. The percentile is the share of those days with an average at or below today's (window: up to 365 days). The streak counts consecutive days, including today, with the same sign. The spread is the current gap between the highest and lowest annualized rate among exchanges with data.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/section>\r\n\r\n\t\t<section class=\"frp-faq\">\r\n\t\t\t<h2>Frequently asked questions<\/h2>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"frp-faq-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<h3>What does the funding rate historical percentile mean?<\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t<p>It is an arithmetic fact: the percentage of recorded days in our series whose daily average was at or below the current rate. A 95th percentile means today&#039;s rate is higher than on 95% of observed days. It implies no future price direction.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"frp-faq-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<h3>What is a negative funding streak?<\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t<p>The number of consecutive days, including today, in which the multi-exchange daily average has been negative.
