If you want to enjoy your games with no friends messaging you or knowing which titles you play, set the Internet mode to appear offline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can set <strong>offline mode in PS4 or PS5<\/strong>. The steps are very easy to follow and you will gain privacy when playing your favourite videogames. It is also useful to hide your PS5 games library. Most of the users select this mode when they want to ignore several invitations from contacts. Turn on the Appear offline option. To check if you are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.islabit.com\/en\/168441\/vpn-not-connecting-what-to-check-in-order-to-fix-it.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">disconnected<\/a>, look for the colored spot in your avatar. If yellow, you appear as Busy. Your contacts can see you that you are online but doing something important. If the spot has no color, you appear offline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Normally, <strong>you can set your PS5 to offline mode from the main menu of a starting session<\/strong>. Select the Options menu and choose Appear offline from there. You can do this to avoid changing the status from your Avatar one time after another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Appear offline on PS4<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have a <strong>PS4 and want to appear offline you can do it very quickly.<\/strong> Hold the Home button in your joystick to enter quick access menu. Select your profile and choose the Appear offline option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PS4 doesn\u2019t have the Busy mode of PS5, but you don\u2019t have to set it up again. The offline mode stays active until you decide to remove it. You can remain hidden forever from your contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">With the PS app on your smartphone to play with no interruptions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You can also select the PS app from your mobile phone to set offline mode<\/strong>. The modification from the app remains active until next time you select it. To set offline mode from the app, start session and go to Settings. Look for the Online status and Console management.
