However, sometimes we have issues with the Google Play Store, the app by default that Android has for you to download new apps officialy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Google Play is not working right in your smartphone, you can try to uninstall and reinstall it. It&#8217;s similar to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.islabit.com\/en\/168739\/possible-solutions-if-whatsapp-doesnt-work.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WhatsApp not working right<\/a>. First you can try deactivating it to fix the issues. Do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Settings app in your phone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Apps section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for Google Play Store app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press the deactivate button at the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A pop-up window will ask you to confirm the action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can <strong>reactivate the app<\/strong> following the same steps. Remember that when deactivated, Google Play Store will not allow you to update or download new apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uninstall Google Play Store updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By <strong>uninstalling Google Play updates<\/strong> we return the app to its default version. Sometimes this fixes the problem. The steps are the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Settings app in your phone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Apps section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for Google Play Store app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press the three points button in the upper part.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Don\u2019t auto-update.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm the action in the pop-up window.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uninstall and reinstall Google Play Store versions manually<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Google Play is not updating itself automatically you may do it manually. You can download the update packages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Google Play Store app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press on the Profile image on the upper right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open Settings menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the Information tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press the green button Update Play Store.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These options may help you to <strong>fix any issue with Google Play Store<\/strong>.
