The recent update for Windows 11 improves software playback utilities and offers you a great improvement in user interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company keeps developing patches and updates for the operating system. However, the users have detected 27 new issues. In response, Microsoft launched a <strong>new update<\/strong> that fixes most of them. One of the most troublesome included audio and video playback issues as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.islabit.com\/en\/168807\/the-reasons-for-using-a-decentralized-vpn.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VPN performance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does the new Windows 11 update offers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.islabit.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/windows-11-update.webp\" alt=\"How does the new Windows 11 update works\" class=\"wp-image-171027\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.islabit.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/windows-11-update.webp 1200w, https:\/\/www.islabit.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/windows-11-update-600x375.webp 600w, https:\/\/www.islabit.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/windows-11-update-1024x640.webp 1024w, https:\/\/www.islabit.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/windows-11-update-768x480.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>highlighted issues<\/strong> the update fixes include the faults and deficiencies in audio and video content playback and the VPN performance. It is the KB5028254 update and it is part of the monthly preview version. There are no security issues involved. It allows Windows 11 users to check the improvements that will arrive in August with the mandatory update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>newest patch<\/strong> resolves problems with audio and video devices that disappear after PCs come out of sleep mode. It also includes a brightness setting improvement on the screen for more precise controls. The widgets won\u2019t vanish unexpectedly from the Windows 11 taskbar thanks to the update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The update is optional<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You need to know that the update package is optional<\/strong>. If you want, you can install it to fix the errors, but the mandatory update will arrive sometime around August. There is no security-related fixes in optional packages. To install the KB5028254 package you need to start the Settings application and click on Windows Update. The system will then show you the available download packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another good idea is to use the official Microsoft Catalog to see all the updates available and install them manually. If your operating system installed the update correctly you will reach the system build 22621.2070.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other significant fixes included in the update are the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Windows 11 notification platform consumes high PC resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unexpected bug of printer drivers download.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Issues with the Windows core\u2019s vulnerable driver block list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Problem with Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>All of these issues are fixed through the Windows 11 update<\/strong>, even though it\u2019s an optional download, you should install it.
