It is also possible to designate a specific delivery location that is less exposed than the front door, as long as it is not inside the garage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does Amazon Garage Delivery work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a delivery driver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Amazon-Key-In-Garage-Delivery\/b?ie=UTF8&amp;node=21222091011\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">arrives at your address<\/a>, he or she scans the package and requests unique access to the customer&#8217;s garage, which must be compatible with the Amazon Key smart home system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Driver location and package validation is done before opening the garage door, and the delivery person places the package inside before closing the door with a simple tap on the delivery app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This change in Amazon&#8217;s pricing policy comes shortly after another adjustment that increased the minimum purchase amount for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.islabit.com\/en\/170487\/amazon-shakes-up-the-mobile-phone-market-with-a-possible-free-service-for-its-prime-subscribers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">free shipping<\/a> for non-Prime customers to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/08\/28\/amazon-hikes-free-shipping-minimum-to-35-for-some-users-without-prime.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$35 in several markets<\/a>.
