Changes are coming to Minecraft. Mojang, the team behind the game, announced that in March 2025 Minecraft will end official support for virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR) devices on PlayStation, although it will bring improvements<\/a> on PS5.<\/p>\n

End of VR and MR support in Minecraft<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news came from the most recent patch notes<\/a> for the Bedrock edition of Minecraft. They mention that, after March 2025, the game will no longer receive updates or technical support for VR and MR devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite this, players who still enjoy the game in its virtual worlds will not lose access to their creations or their purchases in the Marketplace, as long as they use a computer monitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
