One of the most interesting features for videogame industry<\/strong> is the FPS rate change without losing quality. DLSS, FSR and even XeSS are the names of each graphic card developer technology to do this. However, NVIDIA DLSS change was very difficult to implement. That has ended now that DLSS 4 is among us. Now you can change the videogame DLSS version easily.<\/p>\n

Thanks to DLSS 4 NVIDIA graphic card<\/a> users can activate the DLSS feature in almost all RTX models. The new optimized version of DLSS enables the escalating technology set up to play high-end games even above the 120 FPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NVIDIA DLSS Override and version changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

New NVIDIA update includes the DLSS Override<\/strong> feature to choose the DLSS version for each videogame. You can activate it on any title compatible with Deep Learning Super Sampling even if the game developer hasn\u2019t implemented it yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To use DLSS Override you only need to download the latest version<\/a> of NVIDIA app<\/strong> and update drivers to 572.16<\/a>. Then you can activate DLSS 4 following these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open NVIDIA app and go to Graphics tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. There you will see a list of your installed videogames.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Left click the title you want and select Driver settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. The new menu has three options related to DLSS Override. Preset value, Multiple photogram generation and Super Resolution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. To enable the most recent mode just pick each of these options and select More recent in the sliding menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    DLSS Swapper alternative<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Before NVIDIA included the option to change DLSS version<\/strong>, there was a third party alternative called DLSS Swapper. It\u2019s a free software with a really simple user interface that lets you choose the DLSS version for each videogame. It\u2019s a good alternative for those who want to check performance of a title with the latest update on the graphic card drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
