But there\u2019s an even easier trick. Make a voice recording from the phone app. In order to confirm a problem with your microphone, try recording twice. One without the cover f the phone, and other with it. You can also record yourself using Bluetooth headphones with microphone included. It\u2019s a good way to detect where the problem is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you hear your voice distorted, then you have a dirty microphone. But also try restarting your device because sometimes there are update or system problems that can generate sound issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to clean the dirty microphone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you discard any other reason for <strong>bad microphone sound<\/strong>, it\u2019s time to proceed with the cleaning. You may blow two or three times to remove any little dirt. You can use a can of compressed air but use it with little pressure because it\u2019s possible to damage the components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another trick is the straw one. <strong>It&#8217;s a good idea for small dirt problems with your microphone<\/strong> as the power it has is very low. Then remove it with all the dirt glued to it. You can also use Bluetack putty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have a small brush with soft and flexible bristles you can use it to manually remove dirt from the microphone hole. Remember that it\u2019s a very sensible device and you should never introduce clips or needles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What to do if the microphone still functions badly?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If any of the solutions work, <strong>you may need to bring your phone to a technician<\/strong>.
