Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 arrived on the market during the summer of 2023<\/strong>. The RPG is one of the most popular  and there are thousands of players enjoying all kinds of adventures among the vast kingdoms of the game. Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 cross-play mechanics allow for a great number of replays with new surprises in each adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on your choices, Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 cross-play<\/strong> can become an infinite adventure as you make different choices in life and death situations. Recently, Larian Studios improved the game drastically thanks to different patches. In the 8th<\/sup> update the community has received the cross-play feature between several platforms including PC, Mac, PS5 and Xbox. Until now, each network universe was independent, but thanks to Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 cross-platform feature there\u2019s a new adventure waiting for players all around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cross-play in Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 is already available<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the funniest modes in Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 is cooperative<\/strong>. Travelling with a group of friends it\u2019s the most entertaining experience as you discover new ways of interaction. However, there was a problem because each platform had its own world. PS5 players couldn\u2019t play long with PC players, for example. This has come to an end with Larian Studios showing the new Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 cross-play method<\/a>. It won\u2019t matter witch version of the game you are playing. All of them will communicate correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Larian also posted a video in which they explain exactly how you can enable cross-play. It\u2019s very easy and you can follow this step by step guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on the box for the option Enable cross-play in the Settings menu during your gameplay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select the friends menu and add all of those you want to play with using the Larian Studios ID. Add all the ones that will get in the match.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In case some of your friends don\u2019t appear, you can send them an invitation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Go to the main menu and select Multiplayer option and press the cross-play tab in the upper right corner. It\u2019s next to online and LAN alternatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Create a cross-play room and add your friends from the list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
