This technology hasn\u2019t been developed by Intel and it\u2019s the main reason for AMD reign on gaming devices. But there are new updates incoming. They are working on a processor with even more cache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>AMD hasn\u2019t officially announced a model with dual 3D V-Cache<\/strong> during the keynote for the CES 2026. But we already know that Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 is real and it will arrive sometime during the year. The new chip will include 2 chilplets with active 3D V-Cache reaching 192 MB of L3 cache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>new 192 MB L3 cache models<\/strong> may be closer than you are thinking. AMD didn\u2019t present them during the keynote but in some interviews after the keynote there was information about it. AMD is working on the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ComputerBase\/status\/2008637546050248841\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ryzen 9 9950X3D2<\/a> model but we need to be on the look for more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Ryzen 7 9850X3D<\/strong> was presented but they showed an image of a different chip model with a double CCD setting. The rumors indicate that the image belongs to the Ryzen 9 995X3D2. However, why wouldn\u2019t AMD present it if they already have it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s a possibility of showing the new Ryzen 9 for an even bigger announcement. It\u2019s a new model that would bring 192 MB of L3 cache memory and 200W TDP. settings The repercussions of its arrival will be interesting for the technology segment.
