How does the multilingual Siri works

Siri becomes multilingual in iOS 17.4

The newest iOS 17.4 update turns Siri into the greatest translator. The Apple assistant becomes multilingual and you can ask Siri to read and send messages in up to 22 different languages. The translation option is a new feature that sums up to third party app stores and the opening of NFC chip specifics.

Basically, the iOS assistant Siri now can send and read messages in more languages than the default one.  Up until this moment the language settings was somehow confusing, generating certain mix ups. But the new version is more clear and precise.
