The new iPhone 18 Pro is still 7 months away for an official launch, but there are certain leaks on the Internet. The development is arriving on the Product Validation Test stage. Two iPhones with similarities on the outside but improvements inside the iPhone 18 Pro leaks
In the past, Apple launched S versions of iPhone in odd years. These were improved versions of the iPhone current generation. It was like that with iPhone 4s, 5s, 6s and XS, for example. Taking this into account, the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max models would be something like iPhone 17s Pro.

A20 Pro is the brain for the future iPhone 18 Pro devices and it’s the first of Apple with 2 nanometers production. This means that SoC will integrate more transistors in the same space. The results are improved performance and more efficiency for more battery autonomy.
Powerful battery
The leaks indicate that iPhone 18 Pro Max will include a better chip and bigger battery with 5100 or 5200 mAh.
Camera
The main camera of iPhone 18 Pro is expected to include a variable opening sensor for the first time. It can physically adjust the light arriving to the lenses to improve lighting conditions for your photos and videos
Apple has been testing a teleconverter, an optical device between the lenses and the sensor to increase focal distance and get a better optical zoom.
Satellite connection improvements
The chip C2 works as the first 5G modem from Apple in the Pro version. There will be an interesting number of improvements for connectivity. The satellite 5G connection will be based on the NR-NTN standard. Each satellite will work as a 5G tower with a better coverage and connection where land network doesn’t reach.
September launch in the iPhone 18 Pro leaks
It’s soon to determine the final price, but the strategy to boost sales is to keep the iPhone 18 Pro 256 GB version price, and increase the versions with 512 GB, 1 and 2 TB.
