Installing WhatsApp in your Smartwatch
In order to use the new WhatsApp app for Wear OS you need to log in with your WhatsApp number. Remember that you have a limit of 4 devices with the same account synched.
- Download WhatsApp for Wear OS 3 in the Play Store.
- Open your Smartwatch app and then use the code number in the mobile phone app.
- If you have a LTE compatible device you can receive messages even without WiFi or mobile data connection.
Answering messages from your Smartwatch
Although there can be small differences in each device, the WhatsApp message option from Smartwatches is pretty much the same.
- Wait for a WhatsApp alert for a new message.
- Touch the notification in your wearable.
- To answer slide your finger up, in some devices you have to slide it left.
- Select Answer.
- Dictate the message or choose a default one.
- Send it.
